Dear host family,
I hope you are well. My name is Van and I am 21 years old Vietnamese. Since 2018 I’ve been living in Europe. At first as a student in the Netherlands. Towards the end of my studies, I also worked extra as a day-care provider. Since August 2018 I have been working as an au pair in Denmark. By now I can speak English as well as Danish. My contract as an au pair here in Demark will end at the start of February 2021. I have enjoyed working as an au pair and I like the Nordic culture. Therefore, I am looking forward to working as an au pair for a new host family from February in 2021.
I am a social, friendly, outgoing, and open-minded person. In my work, I am meticulous, organized, and have a good work ethic. It is easy to cooperate with me since I am very flexible and adaptable. I wholeheartedly love to take care of children, and they tend to love me as well.
My current host family in Denmark has two kids. The oldest kid is three years old while the youngest is only one year old. I really love them, they are so lovely and will be attending school soon, we have had a lot of fun together. I play with them and feed them. I also help my host family with cleaning the house. I do not mind whenever my host mom needs any sort of help. As mentioned above I also have previous experience of taking care of two kids, ages 5 and 8, as a worked extra during my studies in the Netherlands. They were also very cute, and I had a lot of fun with them. We did a lot of reading together as well as doing arts and enjoying both outdoor and indoor activities together.
I like spending my time with children because they are very cute, lovely, innocent, and fun. So, I hope to find a new family who will welcome me as a new member and with whom I can share my year with helping, learning, and being happy together.
