Hello everyone! My name is Chaia. I am an experienced preschool teacher and babysitter, looking for a job in childcare in Oslo.
My mother was born and raised in Oslo, and I grew up in California, before moving to Tennessee. Now I have just arrived in Oslo and will be here for the next four months, which is the time I need to spend here to hold onto my Norwegian citizenship!
As far as my personality goes, I have been described as enthusiastic, compassionate, creative, and reliable. For the past year I worked as a preschool teacher, and prior to that, I have babysat for several years. I am experienced with general childcare - bedtime, bath time, tutoring, cooking, pet care, and laundry are all duties I'm comfortable with. I'm very hands on and involved in how I care for and play with children. I speak a little bit of Norwegian (and intermediate Spanish), and hope to learn more while here.
