We are a small family living in Oslo, Norway. We contain 3 kids, Emma, Maximillian and Christian. We are quite active in different sports. We have a dog, so you need to like dogs.
We live in a house with a garden where the kids can play. We have quite hectic days. Maximillian plays soccer in spring and fall. In wintertime he goes skiing. Emma does gymnastics and has started to ski in winter time. Christian likes to play computer games and ski also.
School starts usually 0800 or 0830 and we are out of the house a little before that as school is not far from our house.
The kids come home around 1400 (2pm) and we have dinner around 1700 (5pm) activities are usually after that.
We have a summer home in the south of Norway that we use quite often and we also have a summer home in Spain that we visit at least once a year but try to make it more often than that.
I expect our au pair to have good relations to the kids. Christian is very self going and don't need much attendance.
It is the making of lunch boxes in the morning and some breakfast. I also need the au pair to be at home when the youngest kids (Emma and Maximillian comes home from school.
When kids are gone I need some light house work to be done. As au pair you usually have all weekend off, and as I dont have the kids here all the time it will be weeks where there are no kids and therefore less to do.
I have had 3 au pairs before and all have enjoyed their stay so I guess you will do the same :-)
