We are looking for barnevakt/dagmamma/au pair in Tromsø, Norway starting April 2020, but can be flexible if you would like to start sooner or later. Either language is fine with us as we are trilingual ourselves.
We are a busy family of five, living on the upper city centre. I am a doctor at the hospital and my husband is an engineer. We have 3 beautiful girls; 3 year old twins and an 8 month old baby.
We need help make the wheels go around in our household. We are looking for someone kind and trusting with a gentle nature. If we are a good match we will look well after you in return.
🌸 IF YOU’RE A DAGMAMMA::
We would need you to look after our youngest girl from mid April (or later) until 1st August (or earlier). If you can only do some weeks here and there that’s fine too. She will be around 1 year old then, and is an extremely smiley and charming little girl. I’m happy to discuss the price with you.
🌸 IF YOU’RE A BARNEVAKT:
We would be needing help with either drop off or pick up from kindergarden, or both. A few, or all weekdays, depending on your availability. It’s located less than 5 min drive from our home and you would have access to our car. We would also appreciate a helping hand when the girls come home from kindergarden, and otherwise evenings/overnight/weekends when I work late shifts at the hospital. My roster goes several months in advance, so we can plan ahead, although I do take occasional extra shifts. If you’re interested we can also include some hours for weekly housework.
🌸 IF YOU’RE AN AU PAIR::
You need to be from the EU/EØS because my husband is Australian (according to UDI). The working hours would be 30 hours a week and we would pay you 6000 NOK a month. As we live quite far up north, we would be happy to pay for your ticket to get here and back when you’re finished. We would be interested to have you from anywhere in between 3-24 months (whatever suits you and if you like it here). We would cover your insurance and you would get paid holiday. We would also pay for norwegian classes. You would have your own private room and access to our car when not in use. But we live walking distance to city centre (less than 10 min). I work on a roster at the hospital so I do work some weekends and we would need help then, but otherwise you would get the weekends off and we can be flexible if you would like a long weekend to go exploring. My roster goes several months in advance, so you would be able to plan ahead, although I do take extra shifts occasionally.
The twins go to childcare 5 days a week and the baby will start child care 1st August. Until then we would primarily need help with looking after the baby when I finish my maternity leave and start working again mid april. When the baby starts child care your tasks would mainly be assisting in pick up and drop off, preparing food and keeping the house clean and tidy.
