Dear Future Host family,
First of all I would like to thank you that you take the time to read my letter. with this letter I would like to bring you closer to my life. I will try as best as possible to describe my life in this letter, my wishes and dreams, my friends, and of course myself.
My name is Risty Marie , 23 years old and Im from Manila, Philippines. Im living at the City of Las Pinas with my parents and 2 dogs Jumong (1 years old) and Namshin (10 months) and 1 cat Yuri (1 years old). I have siblings 2 boys Virhel (20 years old) and Vincent (18 years old) and 4 sisters Richvic (24 years old), Raiza (17 years old), Rhian (13 years old), and Rosevic (9 years old). And I am a middle child in the family.
I have a very loving relationship to all of them, we work together at home to keep everything clean, and organize at home, what becomes pretty and noticeable by the way we're dealing to each others, such as we love to play games together with my siblings and sing a songs in a videokie every weekends and if have occasions especially Birthday.
For giving you a first impression of me I want to start telling you something about me and my personality:
I would describe me as friendly, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, positive and open-minded woman who is interested to getting to know new countries, people, and to learn cultures and languages. In my free time, I love doing to cook foods from different dishes that I watched on Youtube, meeting with my friends, watching food vlogs and travel vlogs, and sometimes reading some interesting articles that inspires me.
I am currently graduating students (Bachelor's of Science in Office Administration) and I also have my partime job before as a waitress in a restaurant, and also work in a manufacturing company.to go abroad as an Au-Pair has been a wish of mine for several months.
Moreover, the years as an Au-Pair abroad is also some kind of a journey to find myself to get out in my comfort zone. finally to become responsible for myself, to be independent person. I want to discover the needs that I have and who I really I am.I'm persuaded of being able to be a good Au-Pair, because I've always been loving children and I had a chance to gain experiences with children in lots of different scopes.
Now I would like to tell you something about my experiences with children.
In 2011, My Uncle invited me to have vacation in their home at Sta. Rosa, Province of Laguna, Im helped them to looking after my 5 years old girl cousin while their are working. We ate together, played games, watching together, writing and drawing.
March 2013,I had a vacation In my Auntie house. I spend my time with them and helping them to taking care of my 2 years old boy cousin, when they are at work, every morning my responsibilities that I do when I was in their home are preparing food for my cousin, feed him in a right time, taking him a bath, play with him, watching his favorite videos of Barney and Spiderman and taking him to sleep every afternoon and also at evening if they are go home late. And I also help my Auntie doing a light household chores like going in the market, washing the plates, cleaning the house, and helping them in the laundry.
Furthermore, In my neighborhood I also look after a 1 years old boy and 3 years old girl, they are siblings. I I did a little bit babysitting with them while their mom is doing some partime job. We played, drawing, they ate together, and make sleep them every afternoon.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to get to know me better. I am looking forward to being an Au-Pair and also a family member in your family and to spend a great and unforgettable year.
