I feel like I must preface this by saying that I am madly in love with a wonderful Norwegian woman. We lived together for two years in Newcastle, but she wanted children & returned to Bergen after I foolishly thought I wasn't ready for that. I am filled with regret after realising the 'meaning of life' & am not exactly doing well back in England, as all I can think about are what our children would be like. I am desperate to prove to her that I am the ideal father for her children, as well as for a Norwegian Job so I can move closer to her. I see Nannying/Au Pair-ing as the perfect opportunity to gain the relevant experience to be an incredible father & have plenty of friends who have done it & they all describe it as a life-changing experience. I am a skilled designer, writer & artist. I value all things arty and feel I have skills to pass on that all children need to have in order to develop effectively. Children have always had a strange affinity with me, even if I'm sat on a bus or a train, there'll usually be a toddler somewhere in a pushchair, with their eyes fixated on me. I perhaps just have a very strange face, but my ex reckoned that it's because I have the kindest eyes & smile. I would one day like to write and illustrate my own children's books & poetry, as literature was one of my greatest passions growing up & I feel that it is severely losing out in this digital age. I am fluent in English, have an intermediate level of French & a fairly basic understanding of Norsk. I am more comfortable with written Bokmal over spoken, as I get lost in the many different accents in times. However, I am an adept learner feel that it's only a matter of practice. I realise that the majority of jobs here are female only & whilst I completely understand why, I consider myself more feminine than masculine. I am certainly more 'right brained'. Don't jump to conclusions though, I am still a strong individual who's self-motivated & no stranger to hard work. My main hobbies include cycling, swimming, climbing, dog walking, football & music, but am always keen to experience new things.
